Facebook daily updates for past week

Tooth issues My Dentist said I may have to go to an endodontist- YIPPEE! Anyway plan to do a 30 minute stroll this evening to the YMCA for my 50 minutes of H2O Fusion - Stay away Snow!

  • A great Sunny day- Morning Spin 45 minutes and late afternoon walk of over 6 miles in about 1 hour 50 minutes. Shout out to Roxy!!! - Thanks for the supportive words of encouragement and donation - you rock!!

    FYI- whenever I refer to OGW in the future it means 'OldGuyWalk' - anyway I handed out OGW cards at spin today and at the Dentist office- need to work on posters and T-shirts next (check... above and/or this link for available merchandise from the foundation I am raising money for) -

    Also had a great chat with the LUNGevity Grassroots Event Director- Diana about making a new link for my effort and generating a press release. Need to review the information first so keep posted to changes coming up soon.

    Last but not least I am changing the direction of the OGW from a east to west route to a west to east route. I think it makes sense to have my last day of the OGW journey to allow an opportunity to local supporters to gather at the YMCA I am currently working out in and asking those interested to join me in the final leg (Bike or walk) to my Lake Michigan campsite at Point Beach State Park.

  • Anyway here's my laundry list of workout time so far after resting all day Sunday
    Monday - 35minutes spin Tuesday - 50 minutes water aerobics - tomorrow Wed
    Spin -45 minutes and then off to the Dentist
    ... ...

    50 minutes of spin- again could not keep up with instructors killer up n downs- I feel like I am so out of shape when I do her class- bummer- good goal for me to shoot for(complete her class doing all she throws at us). Also did another forty minutes walking the track while waiting for my sons first indoor soccer class to start. Signed up for another spin class Monday nights so I can be there when my daughter start volleyball on the 27th- need to up the training now (two a days on Monday now) - only 16 weeks before the start of OLDGUYWALK! Sat February 18 at 7:03pm

    Another warmer winter day turned gloomy- late for spin so only 40 minutes- 60 minute short 4mile walk tonight -gotta love these temps -Still over 32 degrees at 7pm !!!!Friday February 17

    Wow can't beat this weather- walked 3miles at lunch 45 minutes, another 3 mile walk 45 min to the YMCA for my water aerobic class- 50 minutes of waterfun! Looks like temps are going to stay above avg for the next week- excellent!  Thursday February 16
